The Comment Presets section is missing#
Confirm the plugin is enabled. Select a comment by itself and check its Details panel. In Niagara, use Selected Details. In Behavior Trees, select one comment.
Material and Material Function editors are not supported. See Supported graph editors.
No presets are defined#
Add an entry under Project Settings → Plugins → Comment Presets, then select the comment again.
A new or edited card does not appear#
Select something else and then reselect the comment to refresh its Details panel.
My comment text was replaced#
Press Ctrl+Z. Turn on Prefix existing comment, then apply the preset again. To change only color, leave the preset text empty.
The prefix runs into the comment text#
End the preset text with the separator you want, such as a space or **: **.
Another label was added before the first one#
Prefix mode only prevents repeating the same exact starting text. Undo and edit the comment or choose a preset with empty text.
Undo changed something else#
If applying the preset made no change, it created no new undo step. The next Undo therefore applies to your previous edit.
Prefix changes last for this session only#
The shared settings could not be written. Check out Config/DefaultEditorPerProjectSettings.ini through source control, then click the checkbox twice, or change any preset in Project Settings, to save the value shown.
Prefix behavior changed after an update#
Current releases use the project's shared value. Check Prefix Existing Comment in Project Settings and agree on the intended value with the team.
