Success is false#
Read Error Message first. Confirm the table is connected, it has a row structure, the row exists where required, and the chosen node matches the field type.
The query succeeds but returns no rows#
Read a known row, verify the path and comparison value, and try one simpler condition. Check whether the query options use AND or OR.
A path segment cannot be found#
Use Get Leaf Property Paths and copy the exact path. Check whether a field was renamed or belongs inside another struct.
The node type does not match#
Use Get Property Type At Path. Switch to the corresponding integer, float, Boolean, enum, or text-related node.
An enum filter finds the wrong entries#
Enum filters compare the entry's numeric value. Get Enum Entries At Path lists the entry names in order; for a Blueprint enum, an entry's position, starting at 0, is its value. Read the field from a known row to confirm.
Text matching is unexpected#
Choose the operator you mean: Equal, Contains, Starts With, or Ends With. Matching ignores letter case for A to Z only, compares Text as currently displayed, and counts leading and trailing spaces. An empty value matches every row with Contains and none with Starts With or Ends With. Inspect the actual row value for spaces or a different name.
Sorting fails#
Verify the sort path, its type, and the input row names. Filter and inspect the candidate list before sorting.
Results look stale after editing#
Edits made in the editor refresh cached results automatically. If results still look stale, for example after C++ code changed row data or the game language changed, call Invalidate Cache For Data Table or Clear Query Cache, or turn Use Cache off and rerun. Confirm the connected table is the one you edited.
A seeded result changes#
Check the seed, conditions, candidate rows, and weights. Use the Seeded variant for a repeatable comparison.
A nested collection field is missing#
Paths cannot traverse arrays, maps, sets, or object references. Use a supported struct field or handle the collection in your own Blueprint.
