Pick the node family#
| Task | Family |
|---|---|
| Filter on one field | Filter |
| Combine conditions or use a range | Query |
| Read a field from one or several rows | Read |
| Discover fields and their types | Inspect |
| Find totals, averages, or distinct values | Stats |
| Find duplicate or empty values | Validation |
| Sort, combine, or page row names | Utility |
| Choose an item | Random |
Search the Blueprint node menu under Data Table Extensions. Choose the node whose type matches the field.
Read results correctly#
Check Success and Error Message where supplied. A successful query with no matches is valid. A first-match operation can also succeed without finding a row; check its found result.
Most queries return row names. Feed those names into standard Get Data Table Row or plugin read nodes.
Use multiple conditions#
Create the type-specific conditions, collect them with Make Array, and connect them to Query Data Table Rows together with Make Query Options. In the options, AND requires every condition and OR accepts any one. A query needs at least one condition; with none it fails. Array inputs and Options must be connected, or the Blueprint does not compile.
Work with nested data#
A property path such as Stats.Power identifies a field inside a struct. Paths do not traverse arrays, maps, sets, or object references.
