Which engine versions are supported?#

UE 5.5–5.8.

Where do I paste?#

In an Actor Blueprint's Components panel, or a selected level actor's Details → Components list.

Why does copying from the Content Browser not work?#

This workflow starts with placed actors selected in the level. Asset selection is different content.

Does it keep meshes and material overrides?#

Yes. Review the pasted result and notification.

Can I copy Blueprint actors with behavior?#

Yes. Keep Blueprint Actors set to Child Actor Component.

What does Flatten To Components omit?#

The original actor's graph behavior. Use it when you want editable pieces rather than the actor's logic.

Are attachments preserved?#

Attachments within the copied set are preserved, and a parent that was not copied is not retained. Blueprint actors kept as child actor components paste at the top level, and actors attached to them paste unattached; re-attach them in the Components panel if needed.

Do actor-reference variables follow the copied actors?#

Not generally. Review those variables separately; attachments are not the same as actor references.

Does the pivot rotate my assembly?#

No. Pivot choices reposition the group without rotating it.

Can I undo the paste?#

Yes. Use Ctrl+Z.

Is the plugin needed in the packaged game?#

No. Actor Paste is editor-only.
