Open Editor Preferences → Plugins → Actor Paste. These are personal editor preferences.

Use the menu without automatic paste#
Turn Fix Clipboard On Ctrl+V off if you want ordinary paste behavior on that shortcut. Paste Actors as Components remains available from the Components panel context menu.
Use your existing paste shortcut#
The automatic workflow follows the editor's general Paste command. If you rebind that command, use the new shortcut with the Components panel focused.
Convert the clipboard explicitly#
Run the console command ActorPaste.ConvertClipboard after copying the level actors. It changes the clipboard to component content and leaves it that way, so any Paste in a Components panel pastes them.
Copy the level actors again if you subsequently want to paste them into a level.
Convert Clipboard for Component Paste also appears under Editor Preferences → Keyboard Shortcuts → Actor Paste, but a key bound to it has no effect in the current version.
See the Feature reference for every setting, console command, and message.
