Install and enable#

Use the plugin package for your installed engine version. Supported versions: UE 5.5–5.8.

  1. Install the plugin using the instructions supplied with your purchase.
  2. Open your project and go to Edit → Plugins.
  3. Search for the plugin by name and enable it.
  4. Restart the editor if prompted.

Copy from a level#

  1. Select several placed actors, such as a wall and its fittings.
  2. Press Ctrl+C.
  3. Open the Actor Blueprint that should contain them.
  4. Click DefaultSceneRoot in the Components panel.
  5. Press Ctrl+V.

Use actors selected in the level, not assets selected in the Content Browser.

Check the result#

Review the new components, assigned meshes, material overrides, and placement. The notification reports what was pasted and names any actor that had nothing to paste.

By default, the first copied actor is placed at the Blueprint root, while the others keep their offsets. Compile and save the Blueprint when satisfied. Ctrl+Z undoes the paste.

Use the context menu#

If the shortcut does not work, right-click DefaultSceneRoot and choose Paste Actors as Components. This entry also reports why a paste failed.

Choose another pivot#

Open Editor Preferences → Plugins → Actor Paste → Pivot. For props that sit on a floor, try Bounds Bottom Centre.

See Choosing a pivot before pasting an assembly that must retain its exact level coordinates.
