Ctrl+V pastes nothing or empty components#
Confirm the plugin is enabled. Click a component in the Components panel before pasting, and check Fix Clipboard On Ctrl+V is on.
Right-click a component such as DefaultSceneRoot and choose Paste Actors as Components; unlike the shortcut, it reports why a paste failed. The Blueprint viewport and graph do not provide Components-panel focus.
The context-menu entry is missing#
Copy placed actors from the level again. Copying text or Content Browser assets replaces that clipboard selection.
Everything lands at the origin#
Check the plugin is enabled and use Paste Actors as Components to verify the intended paste command is running.
The group is far from the Blueprint root#
Check Pivot. Keep World Coordinates can place an assembly far away. Undo, choose First Copied Actor or a bounds-based pivot, then paste again.
A Blueprint actor lost its behavior or instance edits#
Use Child Actor Component rather than Flatten To Components. Undo and repaste with that setting.
An actor-reference variable is empty#
References to other copied actors are not preserved in the same way as attachments. Review and reconnect the relationship in the destination.
Some components were skipped#
Read the paste notification. Check Include Non Scene Components and Include Editor Only Actors if relevant. Helper visualization components and actors with nothing pastable may be omitted.
My clipboard no longer pastes actors into the level#
Copy the level actors again. The ActorPaste.ConvertClipboard console command intentionally leaves component content on the clipboard.
If the issue remains, send Support your plugin and engine versions, actor types, paste method, settings, and the notification text.
