Can I use it in a Blueprint-only project?#

Yes. You do not need to write C++ to search your assets and Blueprints.

Which engine versions are supported?#

UE 5.5–5.8. Quick Search runs in the Windows editor.

Does it ship with my game?#

No. Quick Search is an editor tool.

Does it find every node call?#

It finds declarations and comments. Use Find in Blueprints to find every place a node is called.

Yes. Open Editor Preferences → General → Keyboard Shortcuts → Quick Search.

Why do assets appear before functions?#

Assets are prioritized by default. Use f: for functions, or adjust Kind Weights in Quick Search preferences.

Does it find actors and gameplay tags?#

Yes. Use l: for actors in the open level and g: for gameplay tags.

Why is my new function missing?#

Compile its Blueprint and allow any initial search preparation to finish.

Yes. Open an empty search to see recent destinations.
