Ctrl+T does nothing#

Confirm the plugin is enabled, close any blocking dialog, and try Tools → Quick Search. Sequencer and the Physics Asset Editor use Ctrl+T themselves. Choose another shortcut in Editor Preferences → General → Keyboard Shortcuts → Quick Search if needed. The shortcuts also stand down in panels listed in Shortcut Deny List.

No results appear#

  1. Type the name of an asset you know exists.
  2. Remove prefixes, folder restrictions, type filters, and @.
  3. Check the content source switches in the search field.
  4. Check excluded folders in the plugin's preferences and project settings.

An empty query shows history. A new installation may have no history yet.

Assets appear, but functions do not#

Wait for the popup's preparation status to finish, then compile the Blueprint that owns the function. Compile and save imported Blueprints in your current supported editor if necessary.

If the footer says assets only, close the other editor using this project and restart this one.

My comments are missing#

Enable Index Comments in Quick Search preferences. Try a distinctive word from the beginning of a comment word, using c:.

Results are too broad#

Use a result filter, an owner name, or a folder. For example, f:health removes asset results, and /Game/Characters health narrows the location.

A packaged game reports Quick Search is missing#

Update to the current plugin release. Projects that enabled very early releases can retain an old project setting after updating; contact Support with the exact startup message and plugin version for help correcting it.

Report an unresolved issue#

Include your plugin version, engine version, the exact query, active filters, and the result you expected. A screenshot of the popup and its status line helps.
