Install and enable#
Use the plugin package for your installed engine version. Supported versions: UE 5.5–5.8.
- Install the plugin using the instructions supplied with your purchase.
- Open your project and go to Edit → Plugins.
- Search for the plugin by name and enable it.
- Restart the editor if prompted.
Open your first result#
- Press Ctrl+T, click the Quick Search toolbar button, or choose Tools → Quick Search.
- Type part of an asset name you know exists.
- Use the arrow keys to select it and press Enter.
- Reopen the popup with an empty query to see recent destinations.
For a Content Browser selection instead of opening an asset, press Ctrl+Enter.
Find a Blueprint function#
Type f:health to search functions and events related to health. Open a matching result to jump to its Blueprint.
If you just added the function, compile that Blueprint first. On the first launch, functions and variables appear as the initial search preparation finishes. Watch the popup's status line; you can continue working while it runs.
Search what you are editing#
Press Alt+Shift+T in a Blueprint to list its own members, then type to narrow the list. In the level editor this shortcut lists level actors and the Level Blueprint.
See Search filters for more examples.
