Find a name without typing it all#
Use a distinctive word, several short words, or initials. movement and pcm can both find PlayerCharacterMovement. With several words, each word needs to match.

These are search inputs. You do not need C++ to use Quick Search.
Narrow by location or type#
- /Game/Characters jump limits results to a folder.
- player.health finds a member on a matching owner.
- t:mi rock finds matching Material Instances.
- @ scopes the query to members of the asset editor that was active when you opened the popup. From the Level Editor or other panels, it means the open level.
Remove the scope or filter to widen your search again. When troubleshooting, start with a known asset name and no filters.
Search comments#
Use words from the comment, such as c:recalc landing. If comments never appear, enable Index Comments in Quick Search preferences.
